Dyeing Workshop and Trunk Show

JOIN ELLEN MINARD (Ellen’s Half-Pint Farm in Norwich, Vermont) for another weekend of serious fun!  

Join us Saturday, April 5 through Sunday, April 6, 2025 for Ellen’s Dyeing Workshop at the Chelsea Depot.

Two days of intensive, hands-on experience with yarn dyeing!  This is the master dyer that indies have turned to for decades when they decide to learn the craft.  Workshops are held at Chelsea’s large, airy Depot, a block away from Artisan Knitworks.   Workshop fees include a top-quality skein of fingering-weight merino yarn.  Additional yarn will be available in several weights and fibers at reduced prices.  

Veterans of the workshops will attest to her spectacular teaching ability.  It’s not just for beginners:  Experienced hand-dyers augment their skills and benefit from a conversation with one of the nation’s best-known crafters.  NOTE:  While the Sunday workshops are generally designed to continue the Saturday sessions, experienced dyers can attend the Sunday workshop only for 100.00 as space permits.
