Okay, folks…here is a chance to have fun and help people with cancer through Knit Michigan, a 501-C charity. We are a dropoff point for their comfort items. This time, I want to make stuff on-site. I have much more of Lana Grossa’s beautiful “About Berlin Bulky Cotton” than I will ever sell. So I wrote a simple pattern at super-bulky gauge for a simple cloche with a choice of brim, worked in the round in all-knit-stitch stockinette.
I will provide yarn (two balls each) and the pattern; you can churn out hats. One can be made in an hour or so. Bring 16-inch circular needles and double points if you have them, sizes 11 and 13.
Snacks will be provided. Bring beverages (not booze please!). We’ll be there from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. You can also finish at home or make more at home. And if you can’t come but want to help, stop by for yarn and pattern….just be sure to turn it in later, even if you like it enough to keep it!
