5/19 – Beginning Tunisian Crochet

Description

This versatile craft (once called “afghan stitch,” ) combines elements of knitting and crochet.  In the Beginning class, we will cover the tools and work through the Tunisian Simple Stitch, and a demonstration of additional stitches.  You’ll go home with detailed instructions on the basics of Tunisian crochet and a beginner’s pattern (pattern TBD).

Materials for beginning class: 

• Yarn of your choice, hook will be provided.

Homework: Have your yarn chosen and wound before class begins.

For most classes, we hope you’ll use our beautiful yarns! We offer a 10% discount on full-priced materials for class use.

All classes include detailed handouts or (as relevant) printed patterns.

Classes may require a minimum number of participants; if Artisan Knitworks or the instructor has to cancel full refund (check) or store credit will be offered.

If you have to cancel your class registration within 7 days of the event,  Artisan Knitworks offers a choice between 120% of your class fee for in-store merchandise, registration in another listed class, or a refund check for the amount paid.  We cannot offer these choices within the 7-day window.
